Mikuni Carb Kits

Turn-key kit requires only tools and time. Kit contains two Mikuni VM26 carbs jetted for your motorcycle, carb-to-head connectors with stainless clamps, carb-to-air tube connectors with stainless clamps, fuel line, throttle cables, and instructions. This kit utilizes the stock air filter. Fits R50 & R60 /5, /6, /7. This kit is supplied with braided cloth covered OE fuel line, sintered bronz 70 micron.

We will work with you until Mikunies are optomized for your motorcycle under the conditions you described.This service is ideally suited for individuals that have purchased new or used VM carburetors from a source other than Rocky Point Cycle and want to get them dialed in for BMW brand motorcycles. Rocky Point Cycle can supply: all calibrated parts, throttle cables, fuel line, connecting rubber hoses and ancillary screws, springs gaskets, which are not included in this fee. This fee is waived if you purchased your carburetor kit directly from Rocky Point Cycle. This is a fixed, fee based service which expires 90 days from the invoice date.

Pair (2) rubber connectors for 30mm to 34mm Mikuni carburetor conversions that replace 40mm OE Bing carburetors. Neck-up rubber bushings that fit on the Mikunis are also available (part# 2945NU). Made in USA by Gates.

Stainless steel small band width (5/16") for use with carb to engine connector(s) 2945B, sold each. 4 required for full installation/replacement, but are available in any quantity, sold each.

Carb to cylinder head connecting rubbers, pair, for Mikuni 30 - 34mm  carbs. These connectors are made from fuel filler line which is impervious to gasoline including motor fuels with ethanol blends, Made in the good old USA by Gates.

Neck-up bushings, pair (2), that work in conjunction with part # 2945B. These fit on the carb output spigots and facilitate an air tight connection to BMW cylinder heads where 40mm Bings have been replaced.

Narrow (5/16) stainless steel clamp for carb-to-cylinder connectors. Fits Mikuni 30, 32, 34mm carbs and stock Bing 32mm carbs, sold each.

Gaskets and seals for carb overhauls. Strongly recommend replacing the idle jets and adding or renewing fuel filters.

As below, but with 2.5 float need and seat. RPC recommends replacing the idle jet when digging in at this level.

5mm vacuum fittings (2 ports & 2 rubber caps) for use with carburetor synchronizers. You will need a M5-.08 tap and appropriate drill bit for installation.
